Examples:


Present simple

Active: Amaya writes a letter.

Passive: A letter is written by Amaya.

Present continous

Active: Amaya is writing a letter.

Passive: A letter is being written by Amaya.

Future

Active: Amaya will write a letter.

Passive: A letter will be written by Amaya.

Active: Amaya is going to write a letter.

Passive: A letter is going to be written by Amaya.

Past simple

Active: Amaya wrote a letter.

Passive: A letter was written by Amaya.

Past continous

Active: Amaya was writing a letter.

Passive: A letter was being written by Amaya.

Present perfect

Active: Amaya has written a letter.

Passive: A letter has been written by Amaya.

Past perfect

Active: Amaya had written a letter.

Passive: A letter had been written by Amaya.

Modal verb

Active: Amaya should write a letter.

Passive: A letter should be written by Amaya.

Negative

Active: Amaya didn't write a letter.

Passive: A letter wasn't written by Amaya.

Interrogative

Active: Is Amaya writing a letter?

Passive: Is a letter being written by Amaya?
